Sommerfest am Tag des offenen Denkmals

On the national Day of the Open Monument, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt invites you to its summer festival.
Children of all ages can be creative following a participative parcours of workshops through the Kunsthalle, while guided tours in German provide special insight into the exhibition space built 1957 by architect Theo Pabst and listed for preservation today. The tours are led by Hans-Henning Heinz, who was responisble for the expansion of the post-war building in the 1980s.
For the first time, the model by Mann Landschafts-
architekten from Fulda for reshaping the Kunsthalle´s forecourt is on view. Furthermore, works created by pupils of the Bertha-von-Suttner-Schule during their project week in the Kunsthalle Darmstadt are presented as well.
Coffee, cake, fresh waffles and ice cream from Thildas EIS invite to pause and stay for a while.

Free entry!
