Sommerfest am Tag des offenen Denkmals

On national Open Monument Day the Kunsthalle Darmstadt invites you to a summer festival.
Children of all ages can be creative following a participative parcours of workshop stations through the Kunsthalle while guided tours and talks provide insight into the exhibition space built 1957 by architect Theo Pabst and listed for preservation.
For the first time the model for the redeshaping of the Kunsthalle´s forecourt by Mann Landschaftsarchitekten from Fulda is on view. Furthermore, works created by pupils of the Bertha-von-Suttner-Schule during their project week are presented as well.
Coffee, cake, fresh waffles and ice cream from Thildas EIS invite you to pause and stay for a while.

Free entry!
